Partner Requirements
CreateAthon partnerships are available on a first-come, first-served basis, with the exclusivity of one agency per market. (However, an agency may choose to partner with another in the market.) There is no cost to the agency to join the CreateAthon network and there are no administrative fees. The founding agency, Riggs Partners, provides all network administration and absorbs all administrative costs.
Rules of Play
If you’re interested in becoming a CreateAthon Partner, just email Teresa Coles or call her at (803) 799-5972. We’ll send you a Letter of Agreement that outlines in very basic terms the minimum requirements for becoming a CreateAthon Partner.
Among those requirements:
- Use the official CreateAthon identity in all marketing and public relations materials.
- Hold your event during CreateAthon Week, September 17-21, 2012. (We recommend you choose Thursday - Friday, September 20-21 as the 24-hour period.)
- Adopt a minimum of five nonprofit organizations.
- Commit all or a designated portion of your staff to this pro-bono effort for the entire 24-hour period.
Once you sign on, we'll tell you all we've learned over the years to make it as easy for you as possible. We'll provide forms, timelines, applications, sample press releases, logo files, and more: everything you need to carry out a CreateAthon event.
